Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot has played a big bet ahead of the assembly elections due this year. Just a few months before the election, Gehlot has raised the issue of social security. CM Ashok Gehlot has said that a law should be made in Parliament regarding this. This statement of CM Gehlot is being linked to the upcoming assembly and Lok Sabha elections. Cm Gehlot has given this statement in the presence of Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla.

Referring to social security, CM Ashok Gehlot said, “We have implemented Chiranjeevi Scheme for health in Rajasthan, there is no such scheme anywhere in the whole country, in a way we have insured universal health, Rs 10 lakh.” Gehlot further said, “I think the time has come that such laws should be made like RTE, like food security act, like NREGA, right to social security within the country, every person should have social security compulsory. He said that the developed nations in the countries of the world give weekly money to the families. The government takes the responsibility of providing sustenance to any family which is in need.

Cm Ashok Gehlot further said in his address that I believe that the Act of Social Security should be made inside Parliament. Right now we are giving pension to 1 crore people in Rajasthan. In which pension is given to the elderly, widows, single women, disabled people. Ops, about which the debate is going on, I would like to say again that our government has implemented OPS thoughtfully, multiplied and from a humanitarian point of view, a person who serves for 35 years, he should be confident that the government will take care of it through OPS in old age.

Cm Ashok Gehlot has started a new debate by raising the issue of social security amidst rising inflation and unemployment, Gehlot’s bet is to surround the BJP and the central government. Since the issue of social security is related to people across the country, Gehlot and the Congress party can raise it in the coming elections.
