Centre issues advisory to states to maintain law and order on Hanuman Jayanti

After the violence on Ram Navami in many states of the country, the Ministry of Home Affairs has issued an advisory to all the states on Wednesday. The Home Ministry has said that law and order should be maintained to maintain peace on Hanuman Jayanti. The ministry said that keep an eye on anything that is likely to disturb communal harmony.

On the other hand, the Calcutta High Court has also given instructions to the Bengal government in this regard on Tuesday. The High Court said that if you have less police, then you should ask for force from the Center and the Central Government should also immediately act on your appeal. The court said that we have to protect the people. Let us tell you that Hanuman Jayanti is on April 6, instructions have been issued to tighten law and order.

The Calcutta High Court questioned the government citing violence on Ram Navami. “You are saying that some people have been arrested. We have received letters from some judges saying riots are taking place near their homes. What will happen when a similar atmosphere takes place within the court premises? Something has to be done. The court said that you should put barricades on the paths of the procession. Police can take out peace marches so that people feel that they are safe.
