The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has imposed a fine of Rs 30 lakh on air India airlines for urinating on board a flight. According to news agency ANI, dgca has also suspended the pilot’s license for three months. To investigate the matter, Air India had formed a committee, which banned Shankar from traveling in airlines for 4 months. On this, the lawyer of the accused says that the 4-month ban imposed on his client is wrong.
Accused Shankar Mishra’s lawyer Akshat Bajpai has expressed displeasure over this decision of the airlines. Akshat said he disagreed with the decision of the Muakkil Shankar Committee. He has also said that we will take action against it. He says that the inquiry committee mistakenly assumed that the seat in the business class was 9B, while there is no seat 9B in the business class of craft. There are only 9A and 9C seats in the flight. The lawyer says that the committee has imagined that seat and assumed that our client urinated there.
New Delhi: Air India CEO Campbell Wilson has apologised for urinating on an elderly woman on board a flight. In a statement, Campbell said Air India is concerned about cases where passengers may suffer due to the bad behaviour of their co-passengers. We regret and regret these incidents.
