Jaipur: Four people, including the driver of a container, were killed when their van collided with a stationary container on the Jaipur-Kota highway in Rajasthan, police said on Sunday. All were returning from Khatushyam Darbar. The accident took place in Ghad area of Tonk district around 4.30 am on Thursday. It is being told that the van driver had a nap. After the incident, people passing by pulled out the people trapped in the van after a lot of effort. The dead also include husband and wife.
According to the information, the accident took place at Deorawas Morh on the National Highway passing through Deoli in Tonk district. The van was shattered in the accident. Manish Sharma, his wife Ishu Sharma, Amit Sharma, residents of Shyam Nagar in Deoli, and van driver Ravi, a resident of Ramsar police station in Nasirabad, Ajmer, were killed. Manish and Amit were brothers. Ishu Sharma was Manish’s wife. Manish’s daughter Deepali, Anshul Jain and Nikki alias Nikesh, both residents of Deoli, were injured in the accident.
According to the police, three people died on the spot, while one injured succumbed to his injuries during treatment at Tonk Hospital. These people were returning after visiting Khatu Shyam ji. There were 7 people in the van. All of them are said to be from Deoli in Tonk district.
