Apart from this, about 60 thousand mobile connections were running in Mewat region without verification, which have also been closed. At the same time, more than 12 thousand connections have been closed in the case of taking many fake connections from the same photo.

Let us tell you that the Telecom Department has started a new system for the convenience of the people. Under this, the general public can find out about the SIM connection running in their name. For this, the Department of Telecommunications has prepared a portal, named TEPCOP (TELECOM Analytics for Fraud Management and CONSUMER PROTECTION).

Through this portal, the consumer can turn off the SIM connection operated in a fraudulent manner. For this, information will have to be given on the option on the portal. After this, the DoT will send this information to the concerned mobile operator. From here, the operator will close the connection if the complaint of the concerned consumer is found correct.
