Kochi Oct 14 : Harry Porter Book Day was organised by JCI Cochin, SMRI & Book Lovers Club as its first edition on October 12 at Subash Bose Park in Ernakulam with Day long event.

There were 40 plus Readers from all districts of Kerala.
All members had an oppurtunity to introduce themselves with speech.
The Event inaugurated with a Cake cutting ceremony kickstarted by Dr.Shabeer Iqbal JCI President in the presence of Kamal Muhamed Author of Daring Prince & Head of AICHLS ( Kerala)3 Humanitaran Awards Winner 2024, Shaun Joseph secretary JCI, Unnikrishnan past president JCI, Shijin BT founder & Dean SMRI & Faizy Sayed Ibrahim Author & Organiser of event from JCI.

All the participants were honored with Recognition Certificates , apart Best 4 Readers selected through Jury,Haneefa Cherumukku (7000 Books)

Kamal Muhamed Author Daring Prince & Shijin Founder of SMRI were blessed with special token of respect by JCI Cochin. Shijin Author & Founder of SMRI gave few words about the Book Harry Porter & Author J.K Rowlings.

There were sponsors who have shared their books to be distributed free to participants includes Global Humanitarian & Philanthropist Dr. Mohanji ( Shubha Raathri Chindakal) he also shared a viedeo message with Best wishes all the way from Montenegro. Where he stressed the importance of reading .
Author AL Ameen also shared his book ORIDAM THEDI for free distribution.

There was surprise announcement by Author Kamal Muhamed during the event on New Book Release Faizy Syed Ibrahim: IRU HRIDHAYANGAL was cheered. accordingly was released by Dr.Shabeer Iqbal JCI President. event concluded at 5 pm with Photo session by members holding Play card of Harry Porter..
