A heart-wrenching incident has come to light in Jodhpur, the home town of Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot. A 46-year-old tribal man has been allegedly lynched for taking water from a tubewell in Jodhpur’s Sursagar. The deceased’s brother Ashok alleged that the accused had committed this incident with Kishanlal Bhil of Bhomyaji’s valley in Sursagar. It is also alleged that the family members did not allow the seriously injured Kishanlal to be taken to the hospital.
According to the news report of PTI language, only after the arrival of the police, the family could take the seriously injured Kishanlal to the hospital. But by then it was too late. Doctors at the hospital declared the injured Kishanlal dead. According to the police, three accused Shakeel, Nasir and Bablu have been arrested so far in this case. Police have registered a case against the accused.
According to the Sursagar police station, the search is on for the other accused involved in the incident. There is outrage among the local people over the incident. Kishanlal’s family and community members have also staged a protest demanding the immediate arrest of all the accused. The people involved in the protests have demanded from the administration compensation to the relatives of the deceased and government jobs for the dependents.
