The ongoing saga of Vinesh Phogat’s appeal with the Court of Arbitration for Sports (CAS) continues to be drawn out, increasing anticipation across the nation as they eagerly await the final decision. Disqualified from the women’s wrestling final at the Paris 2024 Olympics for being slightly overweight, Phogat’s appeal for another weigh-in was rejected by the CAS. 

However, she was granted a joint silver medal due to clearing the weigh-in on the day of qualification for the final.
