Youth beaten to death over land dispute

Udaipur: A youth was brutally beaten to death by two men with sticks over a land dispute in Kotada tribal area of Udaipur, police said on Sunday. The accused then fled from the spot. The case is from Lambahaldu area of Kotda. According to the police, Rupa Gamar, a resident of Lambahaldu, was murdered by her cousins Prakash and Teja. All three of them had come to Kotada shopping. While returning from here, there was a heated argument between them due to an old land dispute in Lambahaldu.

In such a situation, both the accused cousins attacked Rupa with sticks. He suffered severe head injuries in the attack and died on the spot. Rupa’s brother Phagna, who came to the rescue, was also attacked, causing serious head injuries. Who was taken to the hospital for treatment. The accused fled after the attack. The police are trying to nab the accused.
