New Delhi: A 54-year-old woman was allegedly murdered and her body buried in a graveyard in Delhi’ Delhi, police said on Sunday. The woman’s body was pulled out of the cemetery by the police on Wednesday. According to the information, the name of the deceased is Meena and she has been murdered for demanding money back for misappropriation of money. The police have launched an investigation into the matter.
Four men have been charged with the murder of a 54-year-old woman. They have been identified as Rehan (barber), Mobin Khan (auto rickshaw driver) and Naveen (tailor) and Syed Ali (caretaker of the graveyard). It turns out that all four belong to a particular community. It is being told that the deceased Meena was missing since January 2 and her family had also lodged a complaint with the Mangolpuri police station.
On receiving the missing complaint, the police started searching for Meena. Meena’s family suspected Mobin Khan. The family had told the police that he had done something wrong with Meena. The police started investigation based on the statements of the family, after which the murder was revealed.
At the behest of the family, the Delhi Police detained Mobin Khan and interrogated him strictly. During interrogation, Mobin Khan revealed the entire murder case. Police have also arrested the other three accused Rehan, Naveen and Syed Ali.
ABV Live quoted police sources as saying that the deceased Meena worked as a finance worker and the three accused worked for Meena. The three had made some mistakes in terms of money and Meena came to know about this. On this, Meena pressured the three to return the money. That’s why Meena was murdered.
