As Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman prepares to unveil the 2024 budget, the focus is on anticipated tax reforms. There are high hopes among the middle and lower-income brackets, which are often most impacted by economic changes. 

Speculation hints at potential adjustments to income tax slabs to alleviate the tax burden. Small taxpayers, who have not experienced significant tax relief since the introduction of a Standard Deduction of Rs 50,000 in Budget 2020, are particularly interested in these possible changes.
