Violence erupted again in Bengal on Friday, a day after Ram Navami. Miscreants pelted stones in Howrah. Incidents of violence and arson were reported in states on the occasion of Ram Navami on Thursday across the country. Vadodara in Gujarat, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar-Jalgaon in Maharashtra, Howrah-Islampur in West Bengal and Lucknow witnessed stone-pelting and arson after clashes between two communities. So far, 80 people have been arrested in cases of violence in three states. These include 24 in Gujarat, 20 in Maharashtra and 36 in Bengal.
