Hindi and Marathi cinema veteran Vikram Gokhale passes away

Hindi and veteran actor of Marathi cinema Vikram Gokhale passed away on Saturday. He was admitted to Pandit Deenanath Mangeshkar Hospital in Pune since November 5. Several parts of his body had stopped working after which he was put on ventilator in the ICU. Despite all the efforts of the doctors, Vikram Gokhale could not be saved and he said goodbye to the world forever. Vikram Gokhale’s body will be kept for last darshan at 4 pm on Friday.

Let us tell you that recently the rumor of Vikram Gokhale’s death also spread, after which all the stars started paying tribute to him. Later, his daughter had told the media that the actor’s condition is serious and he is on ventilator in the ICU. But Vikram Gokhale, who was swinging between life and death, has breathed his last on Friday.

Actor Vikram Gokhale started his career in the film industry at the age of 26 with Amitabh Bachchan starrer film Parwana in 1971. Gokhale has acted in several Marathi and Bollywood films. These include the 1990 Amitabh Bachchan-starrer “Agneepath” and the 1999 Salman Khan and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan-starrer “Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam”.
