In Bijnor district, strict vigil was maintained in the UP Board High School and Inter examinations. The effect of the government’s instructions to conduct a mock-free examination was visible. Static magistrates reached the allotted examination centers before the scheduled time. Mobile teams also became active about one and a half hours before the commencement of the examination. Due to the administration’s siege of the examination centers, no cheating was found on the first day. More than 2500 candidates skipped the exam.
The UP board exams began at 133 centres. Static magistrates were stationed at all the centres. Who reached the examination centers at seven o’clock in the morning. The district was divided into 19 sectors and five zones to conduct the examination without cheating.
Sector Magistrate and Zonal Magistrate started monitoring since morning. Magistrates kept a special watch on the opening of strong rooms and opening of question paper packets.
Six mobile teams took charge of the allotted areas at 6.30 am. The mobile teams were active till 11.15 pm at the end of the examination. The sealing packing of bundles of answer sheets was noticed and the district control room kept monitoring the examination centers.
2532 candidates were absent
On the first day, there was a high school Hindi paper in the first shift. 51086 institutional and individual students were registered in the examination. 48569 students took the exam. 2517 candidates were absent. In the first shift, 195 candidates were registered in the Inter Military Science paper. 180 students took the exam. Only 15 were absent. A total of 2532 candidates were absent in high school and inter examinations.
