Travelers from Hyderabad ended up in a stream in Kerala after following directions from Google maps

Published on

A small group of tourists from Hyderabad mistakenly drove into a flooded stream near Kuruppanthara in southern Kerala after relying on GoogleMaps for navigation. The incident occurred late on Friday night while the four individuals, including a woman, were on their way to Alappuzha. Due to heavy rains causing the stream to overflow onto the road, the tourists, unfamiliar with the area, accidentally entered the water while using GoogleMaps for directions.
