Mathura, Uttar Pradesh | August 2025 — In a space dominated by polished apps, silent videos, and inaccessible content, one grassroots coding movement is doing the unthinkable: making students feel seen, heard, and capable — starting from a humble home in Mathura.

This is the story of The Angaar Batch, founded by Naman Sharma, and later joined by Divyanshu Khandelwal as co-founder. Together, they form India’s most firesome edtech duo — and they’ve built a platform that’s changing how thousands of students learn to code every night.

It All Started with a Game

Naman Sharma began coding at the age of 11, driven by a love for video games and creativity. But a single moment changed everything.

“One day, my friends looked at me and said, ‘Naman, tum to kar loge… par hum kaise karein?’” Naman recalls. “That hit me. I realized I was lucky to start early — but most people weren’t. And no one was showing them how.”

That one moment planted the seed for The Angaar Batch — a platform not for toppers, but for students who felt they’d missed the bus.

Later, Divyanshu Khandelwal, founder of his own edtech community Reprogrammers, joined the mission. Himself a struggling student with no formal edge, Divyanshu had only two passions: teaching and coding.

Their stories were different — but their pain was the same. And their purpose, aligned.

What Makes The Angaar Batch So Different?

In an industry flooded with passive learning, The Angaar Batch is one of the only platforms in India where students speak, interact, and learn live — every single night.

Here’s what sets it apart:

Daily 9PM vocally interactive classes Beginner-first, confidence-first approach Real-time doubt solving and speaking practice Courses in Python, MERN, DSA, AI, and more Taught by real working professionals from the tech industry Investor pitching for top-performing students

The platform has empowered thousands of learners from Tier 2 & 3 colleges — especially those who were scared to ask questions in class or felt “too behind” to start.

“We built what we wished we had as students,” says Divyanshu. “A space where no one feels stupid for not knowing something.”

Their flagship experience, FLAMES ’25 (Facilitating Learning in AI and MERN Environments) has already helped students build real-world apps, AI tools, and full-stack portfolios — many starting with zero tech background.

From Two Strugglers to a National Movement

Naman and Divyanshu didn’t come from IITs. They didn’t have elite mentors or big VC funding. They had one thing: the fire to teach what no one else was teaching — with heart.

Every night, they show up live. Every class is raw and real. Every voice matters.

And now, from a city known for its temples and culture, they’re building one of India’s most grassroots, student-loved learning revolutions.

“We’re not here to build coders,” says Naman. “We’re here to build belief — in the students who never believed they could.”

Meet India’s Most Firesome EdTech Duo

Naman Sharma – Founder of The Angaar Batch. Started coding at 11. Built the platform from a place of privilege and pain — a coder who never forgot the ones left behind.

Divyanshu Khandelwal – Co-founder, former solo founder of Reprogrammers. A student who once struggled silently, but found his power in teaching. Today, he’s the voice behind thousands of confident learners.

Together, they are igniting India’s next generation of coders — not from corporate boardrooms, but from the heart of Mathura.

What’s Next?

With a fast-growing community, unmatched consistency, and a vision rooted in inclusion, empathy, and truth, The Angaar Batch is poised to become India’s most human, honest, and high-impact tech learning platform.

And they’re just getting started.
