A conference of women of cluster organizations of self-help groups is being organized at the Chief Minister’s residence. Women from all over the state have arrived in this conference, with whom Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan interacted.
In this conference organized by the Panchayat and Rural Development Department, Chief Minister Shivraj Ladli Behna and other schemes of the government being run for the benefit of women were told to him.
The Chief Minister welcomed and felicitated the women who arrived at the conference. During the program, Shivraj released a catalogue prepared on products made by women self-help groups.
Some sisters of the self-help group also shared their views from the stage of this discussion program. Seema Rajak said that out of 3663 didis in her group, 2,000 didis have joined the Lakhpati Club. On hearing this, the Chief Minister was happy and congratulated everyone. Rajni, sister of a self-help group from Vikaskhand Rahli in Sagar district, said that the sisters of the group involved in her organization are becoming financially empowered by joining many livelihood activities.
After this, Shivraj took the mic on the stage and addressed the women present in the program and said that today when our sisters were speaking, they were not speaking alone, but their confidence was speaking. As if she was saying that she can do everything in the world. “Today is the birth anniversary of the great social reformer Jyotiba Phule. At his feet, we bow down. He said that new ideas come every day, but the real struggle is to realize the ideas. Our sisters are full of confidence today. There are many sisters who started working with their husbands after joining the Lakhpati Club. It is a social revolution.
