The Government of India has geared up to deal with the Corona epidemic. The central government has held three high-level meetings in the last three days. Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya held a meeting with state health ministers on Friday. He stressed on adopting t3 i.e. test, track and treat strategy. Apart from this, random testing of passengers coming from abroad will start at airports from Friday. Apart from this, RT-PCR test is now being made mandatory for passengers from five countries including China.

Union Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya has said that rt-PCR test will be done on passengers of all flights coming from China, Japan, Korea, Hong Kong and Thailand. There will also be thermal scanning. Mansukh Mandaviya said that if any person coming to the country from outside is found corona positive, then he will be quarantined. He said that all passengers travelling by air should be fully vaccinated. All passengers should follow Covid protocols on flights and at entry points. People will have to wear masks and at the same time they will have to follow social distance.

The Health Minister said that if any passenger is found to have symptoms of coronavirus, he will be isolated under standard protocol. Even after landing from the flight, he will be isolated and given treatment. Every passenger will have to maintain physical distance while getting off the flight. Thermal screening of all passengers will be done at the entry point of the airport. Also, rt-PCR test will now be made mandatory. It was just told by the Health Ministry that if symptoms of corona are found in a passenger in thermal screening, then he will be isolated and sent for treatment. Not only this, random sampling of 2% passengers of international flights of the country will also be done.
