Rajasthan CM Ashok Gehlot and former CM Vasundhara Raje test positive for coronavirus

In the last 24 hours, 3038 new cases of corona have been reported in the country. During this time 2069 people have also been cured of this disease, while 9 patients have died. In the last one month, there has been a 9-fold increase in new cases. On March 3, 334 new cases were reported, while since March 29, more than 3 thousand cases are being reported daily.

Due to the increase in new cases, there has also been a 7.5 times increase in active cases in the last one month. On March 3, the number of active patients was 2 thousand 686, which has increased to 21 thousand 179 on Monday. Earlier on October 23, active cases were 20 thousand 601.

Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and former cricketer Aakash Chopra have also tested positive for coronavirus. On the other hand, 19 girls were found infected in a girls’ hostel in Chhattisgarh on Monday.

Let us tell you that on February 22, there were only 2 thousand active cases in the country, which increased to more than 20 thousand on April 2. According to the data, there has been a 900% increase in corona’s active cases in just 40 days. On Monday also, active cases exceeded 21 thousand. The government has instructed citizens to be vigilant.
