Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Amit Shah criticised the Congress party following the government’s decision to designate June 25 as ‘Samvidhan Hatya Diwas’ in remembrance of the Emergency declared by the Indira Gandhi-led Congress government in 1975.
