Anuppur. On receiving information from informers, the police raided and seized coal around three trucks, which weigh more than 40 tonnes.
A new coal mine is being operated at Rampur, a new unit of SECL operating under Suhagpur area, whose work is given to Dholu Company. In which the contract for the removal of the upper layer of coal and stone by the company is to be done for 3 years. According to experts, some employees and officials of the company are trying to earn huge money by storing coal illegally, on which the police have raided today. The information about who was doing the same storage is yet to be received, the police is investigating the case till the news is written. At present, the police have seized the coal from the spot and seized Kohli and deposited it in the police line, while the police is still investigating the case when the price of the coal is said to be around 5 lakhs. The police have registered a case under Section 41(1)4 of the CrPC for illegal storage.
