Prayagraj’s notorious gangster Atiq Ahmed will once again be taken to Prayagraj from Sabarmati jail in Gujarat and the convoy carrying him will again pass through Shivpuri. On March 27, when the UP STF convoy was passing through Shivpuri area, a cow came in front of the van carrying Atiq and his van was saved from overturning. In such a situation, once again the police convoy carrying Atiq will pass through Shivpuri area on April 12. In such a situation, all eyes will be on Atiq’s passing away.
On March 26, a team of UP Police had taken Atiq Ahmed from Sabarmati Central Jail in Ahmedabad to Prayagraj. Atiq’s convoy entered Shivpuri from Kharai checkpost at around 6.30 am on March 27. The convoy stopped for a few minutes near the Leopard police station, 3-4 km after entering the Madhya Pradesh border. Atiq Ahmed came out of the van here to urinate. While getting down from the van, when the media asked him if he was feeling any kind of fear, at first Atiq was silent, but when asked repeatedly, he said that “what is the fear”. After this, when the convoy went a little ahead of the Khari checkpost, a cow collided with the police van. It is being told that Atiq Ahmed was riding in this van. After hitting the van, the cow jumped some distance away, due to which the entire convoy of vehicles was stopped. However, the vehicles stopped here for a few seconds. The cow that collided with the van died.
Two vans were running with the police team carrying Atiq Ahmed. Sometimes Atiq’s van was ahead, sometimes behind, due to which it was difficult to guess which van he was in. There were about 50 vehicles in the convoy, including police as well as media vehicles. Atiq’s relatives were also included in the convoy.
