PM Modi will launch PM Vishwakarma Yojana tomorrow, know how to apply

 PM Vishwakarma Yojana 2023 The central government had announced the Vishwakarma Yojana in the budget session of the financial year 2023-24.  This scheme was also announced by PM Modi on Independence Day this year.  The government will spend Rs 13000 crore in this scheme.  Advanced training is also given to the beneficiaries of this scheme.

This year, on the occasion of Independence Day, the country’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi had announced Vishwakarma Yojana.  This scheme will be launched tomorrow i.e. 17th September 2023.  This scheme was announced in the Union Budget 2023-24.

 The government will spend Rs 13,000 crore in this scheme.  This expenditure has been kept till the financial year 2027-28.  Come, let us know about this scheme in detail.

PM Vishwakarma Yojana

 The objective of this scheme is to provide financial assistance to artisans.  The scheme will help promote and strengthen the practice of traditional skills of artisans.  It will also help in delivering the products and services properly to the artisans.  The beneficiary of this scheme will get a toolkit worth Rs 15,000.  Apart from this, the beneficiary will also get a stipend of Rs 500 per day along with skill training.

The main objective of this scheme is to develop artisans and make them self-reliant.  Under this scheme, while on one hand the beneficiary will get advanced training, on the other hand attention will also be given to the economic development and economic support of the beneficiary.

Who can apply

 The scheme covers many skilled artisans like carpenters, boat makers, gunsmiths, blacksmiths, hammer and toolkit makers, locksmiths, goldsmiths, potters, sculptors, stone carvers, stone breakers.  Whoever will be the beneficiary of this scheme will also get a certificate and ID from the government.

 Only one member of the family can apply for this scheme.  To make the artisans self-reliant, the government will also give a loan of up to Rs 3 lakh.  This loan will be given in two installments.
