Prime Minister Narendra Modi launched over Rs. 4,500 crore worth of infrastructure projects in northern West Bengal during his third visit to the state this month.
The projects, unveiled in Siliguri, included railway line electrification and national highway projects aimed at boosting connectivity and economic growth in the region.
Modi emphasized the importance of developing 21st-century infrastructure to support the progress of the area.
Governor CV Ananda Bose was present at the event, where Modi highlighted the improved railway projects that will benefit not only northern West Bengal but also neighboring Bihar.
