Mehdwani police seize huge quantity of illicit liquor

Dindori.

Under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Sanjeev Sinha and under the guidance of Sub-Divisional Officer (Police) Mukesh Avrinda, a raid was conducted under the leadership of Mehdwani Police Station In-charge Harishankar Tiwari and a large quantity of illegal liquor was seized.
According to the information received, mehdwani police raided the village Chata and seized 50 pav country-made planes, 48 pav MD rum, 7 bottles of beer, 12 pav Goa from the possession of Rajju Singh father Ravan Singh Dhurve.
The total value of the seized liquor was rs 13,186.
Mehdwani police registered a case under the Excise Act and took action.
Mehdwani police station in-charge Harishankar Tiwari said that this campaign will continue continuously.
Assistant Sub-Inspector Jitendra Bairagi, Head Constable Kamlesh Bhavedi, Constable Kamlesh Marawi and Akash Ahirwar played a commendable role in the proceedings.
