The next day, Karnataka DGP Praveen Sood told the media that it was not a common blast but a terrorist attack. Its purpose was also big.
Not only this, the police made a bigger disclosure. Premraj was not actually Premraj but Mohammad Shariq. It is a terrorist associated with ISIS i.e. Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, which has caused havoc in Syria and Iraq. Who went out to fulfill his terrorist plans by keeping a Hindu name.

On the other hand, the real Premraj’s Aadhaar card has been lost twice in the last two years. He had not informed the police about losing his Aadhaar card. He had a unique ID, through which he had printed another card.
According to the information, Shariq had rented a room on the outskirts of Mysuru with the help of a fake Aadhaar card named Premraj one-and-a-half months ago. On November 20, 2022, the police raided this room. During the raid, explosive-making material was found from the room. Which includes gelatin powder, circuit board, battery, mobile, wood sawdust, aluminum multi meter, wire, bolt and pressure cooker.

He rented the house last month. He had told the landlord that he had come to the city to take training in mobile repairing.
The SIM card that terrorist Shariq was using was bought by him from Coimbatore. Shariq had used the credentials of his associate Surendran to buy the SIM. The Tamil Nadu Police have now taken Surendran into custody. Shariq had also visited Kerala and Tamil Nadu before coming to Mysuru.
