Man kills his sister-in-law with sharp weapon

Ludhiana: A man allegedly killed his sister-in-law with a sharp weapon when she was late in opening the door of her wedding anniversary at Sikandarpur village in Machhiwara town here, police said on Sunday. The accused locked the body in a sack and threw it in the field and fled. The accused recorded it on his smartphone and sent the video to a friend, who sent the video to the woman’s husband. The name of the deceased is Muskan. Machhiwara police registered a case of murder against 32-year-old Amrik Singh, a liquor addict, and arrested him hours after the incident. While fleeing, the accused cleaned the blood lying on the floor and said that the deceased’s one-year-old daughter was handed over to one of his neighbours.
