Tula Bahra has donated to the Phulbani Jagannath Temple Management Committee. She said during this time that she is living the last day of her life, so what will she do with this money. She had been begging outside the same Jagannath temple in Phulbani in Kandhamal district for the past two decades.
Tula Bahra hails from Cuttack in Odisha. She came to live in Phulbani after the death of her husband Prafulla Behera. Due to lack of money, he started begging. She used to put the money received in the post office account to save it. He was then told by the officials that his savings exceeded Rs 1 lakh. After this, he donated the entire money of his savings to the temple.
