FM Nirmala Sitharaman emphasizes the importance of the industry aligning with India’s developmental goals

During a speech at Ficci’s National Conclave on Viksit Bharat @ 2047, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman emphasized the government’s focus on upcoming reforms, including those regarding land, labor, capital, and digital infrastructure.

 She highlighted the importance of industry aligning with the country’s vision to become a developed nation by 2047. Sitharaman also acknowledged the crucial role of the industry in India’s development, referencing its historical alignment with national interests. 

She emphasized the significance of digital infrastructure as a modern factor of production essential for achieving developmental goals. 

Lastly, she outlined the government’s initiatives in areas like AI, space, and logistics to propel India towards economic independence and growth.
