Indore: A major accident took place on Thursday at Beleshwar Mahadev Jhulelal Temple in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. Five people died after the roof of the bawdi collapsed during the program here. It is being told that about 25 people fell into the 40 feet deep bawdi. The police pulled people out of the ropes. There is four to five feet of water in bawdi.
According to the information, the accident took place during havan in Sneh Nagar on Sapna Sangeeta Road. Here more than 25 people were sitting on the roof of the bawdi. Then due to being overweight, his roof broke and people fell down. Among those who fell were children and women. This temple is about 60 years old. There was a program of Kanya Pujan here, so the crowd in the temple was high.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi tweeted, “Extremely saddened by the accident in Indore. He spoke to Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan and enquired about the situation. The state government is moving fast in rescue and relief work.
