On Friday, the Delhi Police will register a case against Wrestling Federation of India President Brij Bhushan Sharan Singh on allegations of sexual harassment.
Delhi Police has given this statement in the Supreme Court on Friday. In fact, on April 21, 7 female wrestlers including a minor had complained of sexual exploitation against Brij Bhushan. When the case was not registered, the wrestlers filed a petition in the Supreme Court. On which the court has heard.
During the hearing, Kapil Sibal, the advocate for the wrestlers side, said in the court – security should be provided to the women wrestlers and the retired judge should supervise the case. On this, the court has ordered the Delhi Police to provide security.
The Supreme Court has also asked the police to file an affidavit by next Friday. The Supreme Court will now hear the matter on May 17.
