Eight killed in accident on Jaipur-Ajmer highway

Jaipur: Eight people were killed and one was seriously injured in a road accident on Jaipur-Ajmer highway in Rajasthan on Thursday. All the deceased were residents of Phagi. The occupants of the car were on their way to Ajmer Dargah Ziarat. The accident took place in Ramnagar area of Dudu near Jaipur in the afternoon. Where a tanker overturned on an Alto car due to a tyre burst, causing the painful death of 8 people.

As soon as the tyre burst, the tanker overturned on the Alto, breaking the divider, police said. Seven of them died on the spot. At the same time, one seriously injured died on the way to Jaipur SMS Hospital. During this time, the tanker also hit a young man riding a bike.

According to the information, the tanker was filled with cement cuts. The driver fled from the spot after the accident.
