A major accident took place in Bihar’s Vaishali district on Wednesday. A petrol tanker exploded on Hajipur-Muzaffarpur National Highway 22. The tanker driver, khalasi and welding mistry died. At the same time, many people are said to be injured.

The accident took place in Goraul police station area of Vaishali district. After the incident, there was chaos in the area. Many people were also injured in the stampede caused by the blast. As soon as the information was received, the local police reached the spot and took the injured to the hospital. After the incident, there was a jam on Hajipur-Muzaffarpur NH 22.

It is being told that the tanker was empty. Welding was being done in the back of the tanker. Meanwhile, the tanker suddenly exploded. The tanker was on its way to Muzaffarpur from Hajipur. Meanwhile, the driver stopped the vehicle and started welding the tanker and the accident took place.

The incident reportedly took place near Cutter Mala near Godhiya bridge on Hajipur Muzaffarpur main road. There was already a tanker parked there. The local Mechanic was welding into the tanker. Some people were also standing there. Meanwhile, the tanker suddenly exploded. The blast was so tremendous that the rear half of the tanker fell far away. The death toll has not been confirmed at the administrative level so far. But it is being told that three people have died and many have been injured. The police have started the proceedings.

Munna Bhagat, a local resident, said that there was a blast in a tanker. Three people have died. It is not known how many injured they are now. It was a petrol car. There was a very loud sound after the blast. Along with the driver and khalasi sitting in the tanker, one person has died after welding there.
