A Bajrang Dal activist was shot in the head by two miscreants outside a shop in Rajasthan’s Udaipur. He was rushed to a nearby hospital where doctors declared him brought dead. The incident took place at 8 pm on Monday in Ambamata area of Udaipur.
About 6 hours after the murder, a young man named Bunty posted a Facebook post claiming responsibility for it. He wrote that Raju wanted to grab his maternal uncle’s land worth crores, due to which he shot him. Pritam alias Bunty, who posted the post, deleted his post shortly after posting.
According to the information, 38-year-old Raju alias Rajendra Parmar has been the district convenor of Teli Bajrang Dal. He was a property businessman. Due to which he had a dispute with many people. On receiving information about the murder, a large number of Hindu organizations activists and many police officers including ASP Chandrasheel Thakur also reached the hospital.
However, the perpetrators of the crime are yet to be ascertained. Police have scanned CCTV footage from nearby areas, in which two youths are seen running away on foot. It is suspected that these youths shot Raju.
It is being told that the miscreants who shot came to Raju Parmar on foot. Both of them shot two bullets in the head from close range. But people could not hear the sound of bullets as bindauri came out nearby. After a while, passersby found him unconscious on Parmar road, after which he was taken to the hospital, where doctors declared him dead.
