Armed miscreant robbed Rs 5.40 lakh in two minutes at bank

Ajmer: Armed miscreants looted Rs 5.40 lakh from a bank in Ajmer district of Rajasthan in two minutes. He locked three people, including the cashier, in the locker room with the help of a pistol and fled from the bank officer’s bike after committing the crime. The incident took place at 2.20 pm on Monday at Adarsh Co-operative Bank near Tank petrol pump in Kishangarh in Ajmer district.

The cashier told the media that the miscreant started abusing as soon as he entered the bank. During this, he also had a scuffle with the miscreant. But when the miscreant took out the pistol, he stood silently. The miscreant first locked three people in the locker room with the help of the pistol. He later put the cash in the bag and fled.

It is being told that after looting the money, the miscreant fled with the officer’s bike parked outside the bank. On receiving the information, the police have laid a blockade to catch the miscreant.
Police say that the miscreant fled with the cash in about two minutes. As soon as the incident was reported, efforts are being made to catch the accused by blocking the district.
