A video of some students wearing National Cadet Corps (NCC) uniforms during the Republic Day celebrations outside The Aligarh Muslim University in Uttar Pradesh has gone viral on social media. In this video, the students are seen shouting slogans of Allahu Akbar. According to sources, the university staff was also present when these religious slogans were raised.
Aligarh: After a video of religious slogans being raised during the Republic Day celebrations went viral, aligarh police have asked the university administration to take strict action against the students who raised slogans. In the video that has gone viral, some students wearing NCC uniforms and carrying its flag are seen shouting slogans of ‘Nara-e-Tabbir Allah Hu Akbar’ near the tricolour. The video is reportedly shot outside the AMU campus during the Republic Day celebrations on Thursday.
Following the incident, aligarh SP has ordered the university administration to take strict action against the students who raised slogans. AMU Proctor Waseem Ali has claimed that a boy was shouting slogans there, the video of which went viral on social media.
According to proctor, the students are being identified and legal action will be taken after identification. He also said that the student was shouting slogans at the university gate and an inquiry has been ordered into the incident. After the student is identified, necessary action will be taken against him.
