MLA Sanjay Sharma alleged that the police used batons on him. Several leaders, including Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, State General Secretary Bhajan Lal, Alwar MP Balak Nath, sat on a sit-in protest after the matter of assault on the BJP MLA came to light.
