Asad Ahmed, the absconding son of Atiq Ahmed, an accused in the Umesh Pal murder case, was killed in an encounter with the UP STF in Jhansi. At the same time, along with Asad, shooter Ghulam Mohammad was also killed by the STF. Sp president and former UP CM Akhilesh Yadav’s first question has raised questions on this encounter. Akhilesh Yadav has described it as a false encounter.

Former CM Akhilesh Yadav tweeted, “By conducting false encounters, the BJP government is trying to divert attention from the real issues. The BJP does not believe in the court. Today’s and recent encounters should also be thoroughly investigated and the culprits should not be spared. Power does not have the right to decide right and wrong. “

Adg Law and Order Prashant Kumar said in the media, “We have launched a campaign against such mafias and dreaded criminals under the zero tolerance policy, which has yielded meaningful results.” On February 24, a major incident took place in Ghumanganj police station area of Prayagrajad, in which a key witness Umesh Pal was killed, in which two of our brave companions who were deployed to protect that witness were martyred. ‘

He said that since then, the Uttar Pradesh Police has formed teams and action was also taken from time to time. A reward of Rs 5 lakh was announced on the five persons identified in connection with the incident, including Arman, Asad, Guddu and Sabir. Here, UP CM Yogi Adityanath held a meeting regarding law and order after this encounter. Cm Yogi praised the UP STF as well as DGP, Special DG Law and Order and the entire team.
