Triya Sushma is a playback singer, debuted with the song “Chirunavvule”, a duet with renowned singer, Haricharan, in a movie “Kalyana Vaibhogame” (2015). The music was composed by Kalyani Malik.She started learning classical music from the age of 6, under various gurus. She got trained in Carnatic and Hindustani classical music.
She got mentored by Mr. Augustine Paul in Western vocals, and also got certified from Trinity College of London. She went on to learn western vocals in KM Music Conservatory, founded by AR Rahman. She found her way into playback singing by doing backing vocals for AR Rahman, HarrisJayraj, Justin Prabhakaran, Santhosh Dayanidhi, Thaman, etc.She was one of the top 10 contestants in a Telugu reality show, Paduta Teenage, hosted and judged by legendary singer, Padma Vibhushan, Dr. S.P.Balasubramanyam.
