Shocking news came out from the tribal-dominated Shahdol of Madhya Pradesh. Here a father had to take his daughter’s body on a bike, because the hospital allegedly refused to provide an ambulance. Some pictures and videos related to this incident have also surfaced. An inquiry has been ordered into the matter.

According to the information, 13-year-old Madhuri Gond, who was suffering from sickle cell anemia living in Kota village, died on Monday night. Madhuri’s parents tried to arrange an ambulance from the hospital to take their daughter’s body to their village but were reportedly told that as per the rule, a vehicle can be found for a distance of 15 km, while their village is 70 km away from the hospital.

In such a situation, poor family members could not afford a private dead body vehicle, so they kept the body on the bike, but as soon as the bike left the middle city, collector Vandana Vaidya got information about it at night. Collector Vandana Vaidya himself stopped the family members on the way to take the body in the middle of the night and reprimanded the civil surgeon and instructed to send the body to the vehicle immediately.

The body was provided to the victim’s parents by the Collector and sent to their home village.
