Smile India Trust has been instrumental in shaping the future of underprivileged children by working towards securing their basic rights. Founded in 2015 and registered in 2017, this non-governmental organization (NGO) has been tirelessly working towards the betterment of the underprivileged in our society.

The NGO focuses on providing essential rights such as nutrition, education, medical facilities, and gender equality to socio-economically deprived children and poor families. Their efforts towards this noble cause were recognized on Sunday, 23rd April 2023, when they were awarded the Delhi Ratna Award at India’s 75 cultural event organized at India Gate by Bharat Manch.

Smile India Trust provides free nutritious food to more than 6000 families daily in Delhi & NCR region and has treated over 450 children under its medical aid project. The NGO has borne the expenses of these treatments in various hospitals. They have organized several social programs that have involved more than 3 lakh people, such as awareness campaigns on cleanliness, road safety, women empowerment, self-defense, and distribution of clothes, study material, disaster relief kits, and ration to families during the COVID pandemic.

In the field of education, Smile India Trust has taken up the responsibility of education and mid-day meals for 80 children. The NGO also focuses on elderly women at Maa Dham in Vrindavan and supports 80 widows with their daily food. Along with this, in collaboration with Amazon Open Heart – Delhi Team, they are running a sewing and knitting project center to empower women and enable them to become independent entrepreneurs.
