Action taken in demolition, encroachment and illegal construction of Hindu refugees from Pakistan

On Monday, the Jodhpur Development Authority demolished the houses of Hindus who came to India after being displaced from Pakistan and settled in Jodhpur. In Rajiv Gandhi Nagar Sector-C Chowkha village area, the authority removed 200 illegal constructions including 70 houses, citing illegal encroachment on 400 bighas of land. During this, the victims expressed their pain and said that we were doomed in Pakistan, here too we are doomed.

According to the information, the JDA first handed over notices and demolished their houses in the case of displaced Hindus from Pakistan who had built houses on government land. It is being told that the matter of getting possession by taking money has also been revealed here. People say that they had bought this land by paying money, although its investigation is going on.

Here, the State Government has taken information from Jodhpur District Collector, Police Commissioner regarding the matter of removal of encroachment. These Pak Displaced Hindus have long term visa to live in India but till now many families have not got Indian citizenship.
