A video of the bravery of a policeman of Delhi’s Nihal Vihar police station is going viral on social media. One of the miscreants tried to open fire at the policeman, but the police personnel risked his life and caught the accused. The accused have been identified as Dhyan Singh alias Amit, a resident of New Roshanpura, Najafgarh, and Navneet, a resident of Ranhaula Extension. A pistol, two live cartridges and a stolen bike were also recovered from the accused. The video of the policemen’s courage has been tweeted by the Delhi Police.

According to the information, Beat Head Constable Manoj and Devendra were patrolling in the area. Meanwhile, when they reached Nala Road, Nilothi at around 10.45 pm, they saw two suspects riding a bike. On seeing the police, the miscreants tried to escape. In a hurry, his bike fell on the road. Head constable Devendra swiftly caught hold of the biker. However, the miscreants in the back seat got down and started running away, which was chased by head constable Manoj. At some distance, the accused took out a pistol and tried to open fire. Manoj controlled her without caring for her life.

Investigation revealed that accused Dhyan Singh already has cases of murder, attempt to murder, robbery, robbery registered against him. He was granted bail on May 15 last year. The accused has revealed that he is a drug addict and started committing crimes to meet the need for money. After coming out of jail, he was planning to start the crime again. Both have been arrested by the police.
