Published on

Jaipur: The Rajasthan High Court on Wednesday acquitted all the four accused in the jaipur serial bomb blast case. A bench of Justices Pankaj Bhandari and Sameer Jain pronounced the verdict, saying the investigating officer was not aware of the law. At the same time, the state government is preparing to go to the Supreme Court against the decision.

Let us tell you that on May 13, 2008, serial blasts took place in Jaipur. In this, 71 people lost their lives, while 185 were injured. In 2019, the district court had sentenced Mohammad Saif, Saifur Rahman, Sarwar Azmi and Mohammed Salman to death under murder, sedition and explosives act. After this, all the accused appealed in the High Court.

Syed Sadat Ali, the counsel for the accused, said that the High Court has termed the entire theory of ATS as wrong. For this reason, the accused were acquitted. At the same time, Additional Advocate General (AAG) Rajesh Mehrishi said that we will file a petition in the Supreme Court against the High Court’s decision.
