The Congress party will meet The President after the Surat court sentenced Rahul Gandhi to two years in jail in the Modi surname case. In this case, the Congress party says that it will fight both legal and political battles. Friday is the ninth day of the second phase of the Budget Session of Parliament. The BJP is demanding an apology in Parliament for Congress MP Rahul Gandhi’s statement in London. The BJP says that Rahul’s Parliament membership should be canceled. There was also an uproar in the Lok Sabha on Friday on this issue.

At the same time, 14 opposition parties led by the Congress have taken out a march on foot to Vijay Chowk on the issue of punishment of Congress MP Rahul Gandhi. The Congress has also sought time to meet the President. Apart from this, Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge will also hold a high-level meeting of the party at 5 pm.

Here, 14 opposition parties reached the Supreme Court on Friday. These parties allege that the central government is targeting opposition leaders using central investigating agencies like CBI-ED. The supreme court will hear the matter on April 5.
