Two persons were killed when an uncontrolled tractor-trolley fell into a river in Rajasthan’s Dholpur district, police said on Sunday. According to the information, during the rain on Monday, a tractor-trolley full of wood fell uncontrollably into the Parvati river on the Khurdia bridge of Baseri in Dholpur district. Two people, including the driver, drowned in the water after the tractor-trolley fell into the river.
As soon as the accident was reported, The Sarmathura police station reached the spot and with the help of LNT machine and villagers, the bodies were taken out and kept in the mortuary of the hospital. The police informed the family members of the deceased. After the arrival of the family, the post-mortem was done.
According to the police, Veeru Kashyap and Charan Singh Kashyap, residents of Agra (UP), were going towards Basedi after loading wood in a tractor-trolley on Monday. Meanwhile, a tractor-trolley fell uncontrollably into the river on khurdia bridge amid rain. Two people, including the driver, drowned in the water after the tractor-trolley fell into the river.
As soon as the information about the tractor-trolley falling into the river, the police reached the spot and carried out the rescue operation with the help of villagers. Police pulled out both the bodies with the help of LNT machine and kept them in the mortuary of Sarmathura Hospital. The police have informed the families of both the deceased. The bodies will be handed over to the family members after the family.
