Shiv Sena leader Aaditya Aaditya Thackeray on Saturday said a new and strong Shiv Sena is being formed as the youth are joining it. He said the alliance government of the Bharatiya Janata Party and the Balasaheb thackeray-led Shiv Sena led by Eknath Shinde did nothing for Maharashtra and it had only worked to divide the people. Describing the government as a “government of traitors”, Aaditya Thackeray said it will fall in the next two months. “Those who left us are traitors and those who remained with us are the real Shiv Sainiks.
Aaditya Thackeray said his party, which was once known for its aggressive politics as a son of the earth, has undergone a “big change”. Speaking at a job fair organised by his father Uddhav Thackeray-led faction here, former Maharashtra minister Aaditya Thackeray said there has been a big change in the Shiv Sena, which is agitating for the rights of sons of the earth. Now we organize job fairs to solve the problems of the sons of the earth, especially the youth.
Aaditya Thackeray said that instead of focusing on industries going out of the state and rising unemployment, the government is engaged in paying political accounts. The opposition had criticised the Shinde government for awarding mega industrial projects Vedanta-Foxconn and Tata-Airbus to Gujarat instead of Maharashtra last year. Aaditya Thackeray said that even after two sessions of the legislature, not a single woman has been included in the Shinde cabinet.
Shinde’s rebellion led to the collapse of the Uddhav Thackeray-led Maha Vikas Aghadi government in June 2022. Shinde then formed the government in alliance with the BJP.
