Union Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari has received a death threat. Gadkari’s office in Nagpur received two calls and threats, following which a complaint was lodged with the police. According to the police, between 11.30 am and 12.30 am on Saturday, Nitin Gadkari’s public relations office received threats threatening to kill Union Minister Gadkari if he did not pay the ransom. The threats also named Dawood.
Gadkari’s public relations office informed the police about the incident after receiving a death threat call. After which police officials reached Gadkari’s office and started investigating. Security has been tightened around Gadkari’s office and residence following the threat, officials said.
According to the information received so far in the case, the threat call to Nitin Gadkari was made from Hubli in Karnataka.
