IED blast took place during an encounter with Naxals in Chaibasa, Jharkhand. In this blast, 5 CRPF personnel have been injured, who have been airlifted. All the soldiers injured in the IED blast are from the CRPF, including 3 soldiers and two constables. All of them are personnel of the 209 CoBRA battalion of the CRPF.

Recently, it was also reported that PLFI militants had carried out an attack in Anandpur in West Singhbhum. The militants had blocked road construction work at Onorkocha village under Anandpur police station limits and set ablaze Poklen. Apart from this, the militants also assaulted the driver.
