Congress MP Pramod Tiwari had given a suspension of business notice under Rule 267 in the Rajya Sabha to discuss the border issue with China. Former Congress president Rahul Gandhi had alleged that China was preparing for war, while the Indian government was sleeping and trying to ignore the threat. The BJP has also attacked Rahul Gandhi over his remarks on the clash between Indian and Chinese soldiers in Arunachal Pradesh. The BJP had launched a scathing attack on Saturday, saying the Congress should expel him from the party immediately. At the same time, BJP President JP Nadda accused Rahul Gandhi of speaking the language of China and Pakistan. Union Law Minister Kiren Rijiju had also alleged that Rahul Gandhi was not only insulting the Indian Army but also damaging the image of the country.
